Hello and welcome to my site/blog/shop/gallery or whatever else you may find while you're here! Let me introduce myself;
My name is Kathryn, and I'm an Artist, Graphic Designer, Free Spirit and so much more located in the Greater Pittsburgh Area. I'm currently 32 years young and will be blowing out 33 candles in August. By day I'm a Graphic Designer and Marketing Specialist full time, however, by night, I am a weirdo artist who has no idea what she's doing with herself. (To be clear, I like it that way sometimes).
I don't consider myself to be anything special or extraordinary, but I like to believe that I can leave an impact somewhere on this world that will be meaningful. I, personally, have a number of mental health issues that I've battled with through the years, and communicating verbally is one of the hardest things for me to do. Therefore, you'll notice that my tagline is "Art is my soul's way of communicating" or you may see "Art is that soul's way of communicating". I find that when creating art, I can put feelings, thoughts and more into the piece that I can't get out of my heart or head.
My art can vary from beautiful floral pieces to dark, yet meaningful, awareness pieces. I like to work with a number of mediums and to be honest, I am a jack of all trades but a master of none ;). I think it's fun to try new things and put yourself out there in the art world. I find that the mediums I'm drawn the most to are: Paint (Acrylic, Oil and Watercolor), Pen & Ink, Graphic/Pencil, Marker, & Hand Crafts.
