New Job & Merch Ideas!
The last few weeks have been full of excitement and new things. I haven’t been creating much art lately since I’ve been a bit tied in other areas of my life, but I have been playing around with merch ideas and I think I almost have that hammered out in my head!
The good news though is that I got a new job! It’s been an exciting and scary process but worth it nonetheless. I needed a change of pace in my life I’ve been having a great time! I was at my previous position for quite a long time, over 11 years, so it was a scary transition, and a decision I didn’t take lightly, but I’m glad I made the leap! The new position I’m in gives me more of a work life balance so I can focus my free time into my own art and creative ventures, while still professionally able to do what I love doing, graphic design. I’ve been at my new position for a couple weeks now, and I’ve been really enjoying my time there! I still have quite a bit to learn so bear with me as I juggle that in addition to my art!
I also have a number of art pieces that I’ve completed but need to finalize in some way, so I’m hoping in the next couple weeks I’ll be able to get those done and put into the world for viewing! 😍 here’s a few sneak peaks at some of the things I’ve been playing with!
I did a couple oil paintings to use up some linseed oil I found in my drawers, had a small photoshoot with my rose of Sharon bush and played around with some merch ideas (stickers and keychains!). I have a few ideas of putting together some 4x6 prints for sale.
If you can, let me know in the comments here what kind of art or merch you’d like to see! In the meantime, make sure to follow my social media!
Creatively,
Kathryn
